Do recalls expire?
Safety, Compliance and Emissions Recalls don't expire. Other Customer Satisfaction Programs often have expiration dates and mileage limitations.
What is the difference between Customer Satisfaction Programs and Recalls?
A recall is conducted to remedy a safety, compliance, or emissions concern. Recalls are Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)-specific programs. A Customer Satisfaction Program is an available upgrade to a specific component or an extension of an existing warranty. Customer Satisfaction Programs are VIN-specific programs. Time and mileage limitations do apply.
